CODE OF ETHICS FOR PHARMACISTS IN INDONESIA


General Liability Pharmacist:

1.       Each pharmacist must uphold, appreciate and practice Pharmacist Oath.

2.       Every pharmacist should strive earnestly appreciate and practice the Code of Ethics Indonesian Pharmacists.

3.       Every pharmacist should always conduct their profession in accordance Indonesian Pharmacist competence and are able to prioritize and stick to humanitarian principles in carrying out its obligations.

4.       Every pharmacist should always be actively follow developments in the health sector in general and in particular in the field of pharmacy.

5.       In conducting their duties every pharmacist should keep away from the business for profit as opposed to merely self-dignity and noble traditions of pharmacy positions.


6.       A pharmacist should be virtuous and a good example for others.

7.       A pharmacist should be in accordance with the professional resources.

8.       A pharmacist should actively follow the development of legislation in the Health Sector in general and in particular in the field of Pharmacy.

Obligations of Pharmacists To Patients:

A pharmacist in a pharmacy must do the work of the public interest and to respect and protect the Rights and patients with human beings.




Pharmacist Liability For Peers:

1.      Every pharmacist should treat their colleagues as he himself would be treated.

2.      Fellow pharmacist should always remind each other and encourage one another to comply with the provisions of the Code.

3.      Every pharmacist should use every opportunity to enhance good cooperation fellow pharmacists in the pharmacy office maintains dignity, and strengthen mutual trust in doing his duties.



Obligations of Pharmacists / Pharmacists To Associate Other Health Care Workers :

1.      Every pharmacist should use every opportunity to develop and enhance professional relationships, mutual trust, respect and honor Associate Medical Officer.

2.      Every pharmacist should abstain from acts or acts that may result in reduced / loss of public confidence in the other peer health workers.

Conclusion:
Every Pharmacist earnestly appreciate and practice the Code of Ethics Indonesian Pharmacist in their daily duties. If a pharmacist either intentionally or unintentionally violate or do not comply with the Code of Ethics Pharmacist Indonesia, the pharmacist is obliged to acknowledge and accept the sanction of the government, the Association / Organizations who handle the Pharmacy Profession ISFI and accountable to God Almighty.
